Here are Whitney Moyer and Matthew Harding!  We had a really great egagement shoot at the beach in Clearwater.  We're looking forward to their upcoming wedding at the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, DC this Fall!

Here's Leslie Hooker and Mike Wayson!!  I've known both of them since high school.  Leslie is my good friend Lauren's younger sister and she was even on my swim team!  She graduated from FSU and currently works in Tampa.  Tyson and I got to know Mike at UF during a spring break skiing trip.  He's currently getting his doctorate at UF in Medical Physics.  We had a blast shooting them!!  We can't wait for their wedding!!

OK - now this is Tyson taking over the writing of this post.  If you are reading this and you live in Malaysia, you might want to read this before you go any further: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_–_Florida_State_football_rivalry.

To some of you who live in or are familiar with the state of Florida, the above picture may be confusing.  How can a Gator and a Seminole look so happy together?  Well, let's just say there was some major "Photoshop" work done to the above picture.  It took Julia several hours to merge two photos into the one you see above.

Once I convinced them that they should appear together in shots for their engagement photos, things got a little tense: Gator Chomp vs. Tomahawk Chop

Obviously, a clear winner.  I mean, what kind of college athletic team's hand gesture doesn't even have a dedicated Wikipedia page?  Please.

The Seminoles weren't too happy with this outcome, but they have learned to cope with disappointment (hmmm...is that too harsh?).  After I declared the winner of this non-contest, the opposing parties reluctantly agreed to put aside their differences for the sake of love.

However, try as they may, the reluctance continued until they later changed into less controversial outfits. As you can see in these next shots on a dirty, rotting, rat-infested couch, it is evident that Leslie is still a bit uncomfortable being embraced by a man in a Gator sweatshirt.

We had a ton of fun, and proved once and for all that our cameras are still able to focus on Seminoles... Who would have thought?  Enjoy the pics!

Congrats, Leslie and Mike on your engagement!!  Go Gators!!! ;)

Shannon Thompson and Craig Schlottmann are a very sweet couple who live in Atlanta, Georgia!  They actually both went to UF, where Craig majored in electrical engineering - the same as Tyson.  We somehow never ran into them up there though! (may or may not have something to do with the fact that we've been graduated for four years now...) They're getting married soon in Craig's hometown of Orlando - so we met up with them at Rollins College to take their engagement shots!  It was great getting to know them and we're looking forward to their wedding!!  Congrats, Shannon and Craig!!

I don't think we've ever had an engagement post this long!  I just couldn't decide on my favorite pictures.  I think this first one is close to the top though.

I went to middle school with Susan and think this is the first time I've seen her since!  Well, since then, she's met a wonderful guy - a Gator!  John actually works for the University of Florida Athletic Association, and part of his duties include traveling with and covering our Gator football team.  We shot them at Susan's family's awesome horse ranch.  Susan - you look great!  I was so excited to catch up with you!  We had a great time shooting you guys and look forward to your wedding!!

And if you're reading this and your name is Tim Tebow, then we're going to have to give John and Susan a big discount on their wedding pics... :)

Gator chomp :) [Tyson: DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA da DA, da DA...  GO GATORS!!!]

Her ring...

His and her ring :)
Yep - It's the 2008 University of Florida Gators Mens NCAA Football Bowl Series Division National Chamionship Ring.  Tyson was pretty giddy to get to hold it :). [Tyson - Boo-Yah!  John's gonna get another one in a couple months...  Go Gators!!!]
I really like this moment of Susan just admiring John :).
Wild horses couldn't have dragged us away from this shoot (and probably not tame ones either) - we had an awesome time, guys!  GO GATORS!

Check out this awesome couple - Katherine Williamson and Paul Byra are two doctors.  Paul is in his third year of residency and Katherine is in her last year of med school.  Can doctors look this good?!!  Katherine and I ran track & cross-country together in high-school.  It was so good catching up with her and meeting her fiance!!  Congrats Katherine and Paul!!!  So happy for you!!

And on top of having smarts and good looks - they have no problem standing in the rain when getting their picture taken.  I know you can't see it - but it was raining a decent amount in the picture below and they're just being totally cool listing to Tyson's directions!

We then headed for cover to escape the rain.  Is it just me, or does Paul resemble Tom Cruise in this picture??
I really love this one.
Congrats Katherine and Paul!  Thanks for being such great sports in the rain!!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!!
